MNBF® Municipal Sewage Wastewater Treatment Plant in Sudair Zone, Saudi Arabia
NET Group of Companies designed and delivered a compact, high-efficiency municipal sewage wastewater treatment plant based on integrated biological-chemical processes combined with mechanical separation.
The key challenge was to treat wastewater originating from a mixed industrial area with highly variable load characteristics while achieving stringent discharge and reuse standards.
The MNBF® wastewater treatment plant was designed for a nominal flow rate ranging from 50 m³/h up to 1,000 m³/day and includes all required treatment stages within a fully integrated system. The project incorporates innovative proprietary technologies, including MNBF®, ANR® and UF, ensuring high removal efficiency and stable operation under fluctuating conditions.
The effectiveness of the implemented solution is best demonstrated by the achieved wastewater parameters:
- BOD₅ reduction: from 923 ppm to 5 ppm
- COD reduction: from 297 ppm to 21 ppm
- TSS reduction: from 955 ppm to 5 ppm
- Ammonium reduction: from >50 ppm to <0.2 ppm
The project confirms our capability to deliver advanced, compact municipal wastewater treatment systems capable of achieving very high effluent quality, suitable for safe discharge or further reuse applications.
