MNBF® Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant at Kluang & Bukit Pasir & Topaz, Malaysia
NET Group of Companies implemented a compact and highly efficient industrial wastewater treatment technology consisting of complete treatment processes. This project included advanced development works for Technology for Palm Oil Wastewater Treatment Plant and delivery on site. MNBF® IWTTP delivered by NGC was designed with a maximum flow rate of 85 m3/h. NET Group of Companies within development of this project, improved effluent quality after wastewater treatment including water re-use for power generation.
The task was to treat industrial diversified wastewater stream coming from palm oil plant. Therefore, the inlet parameters were very highly fluctuated, wastewater was oily.
The effluents parameters allowed for the safe and compliant discharge of the treated effluent into the environment. The project was challenging, but NGC’s technology met it. The results of NGC’s technology implementation are best demonstrated by parameters of wastewater:
- BOD reduction from 400 ppm to 20 ppm
- COD reduction from 3,000 ppm to 50 ppm
- TSS reduction from 2,500 ppm to 100 ppm
- NH4 reduction from 150 ppm to 20 ppm
- O&G reduction from 50 ppm to 5 ppm
